ESSEX BODY CLEANSE
Ear Wax Microsuction
Ear irrigation
The accumulation of ear wax in the ear canal can be very distressing especially for the elderly, young children and people with learning difficulties. The symptoms to look out for are:
We use the latest ear wax suctioning method, where the wax is suctioned at a low pressure gently out of your ears. This method is less intrusive than other methods.
Essex Body Cleanse advises the use of ear drops 2 to 3 times a day for 3 to 4 days prior to your appointment, for the best suctioning results.
Ear irrigation is not for everyone. If you have previously had a perforation in your ear drum, have grommets in place, or suffer from recurrent infection, ear wax removal through suctioning will be the safest way of ear wax removal for you.
Ear irrigation is the process whereby a low pressure of warm water, via a specialised ear irrigator, is used to gently and harmlessly remove the ear wax in the ears.
Essex Body Cleanse advises the use of ear drops 2 to 3 times a day for 5 days prior to your appointment, to soften the wax.
